The City of Mill Valley receives letters of appreciation from time to time. We thought we would share some of them with you.
Stuart Kesler, Manager
Mill Valley Community Center
Dear Mr. Kesler,
One of your employees, Caroline Beyer, was exceptionally helpful to me one day when I was at the Aquatic Center. I was on my way to water walking, and found myself suddenly not feeling well in the locker room. I went to the front desk and spoke with Caroline. She suggested I sit down. Someone called the paramedics and I received very prompt attention thanks to her efforts.
I have often seen Caroline at the desk when I have signed in to swim, taken a water exercise class, and/or water walked. Caroline is always pleasant and attentive, as is the entire staff. On this day though, I think she went above and beyond, and her assistance demonstrated what a kind and caring person she is.
I now look forward not only to my exercise, but also to seeing Caroline periodically.
Battalion Chief Tom Welch
Mill Valley Fire Department
This note is a thank you for all you did to help put out the fire at my house. I have thanked the team so many times after the fire for the care they took to try to put out of harms way some of the things they knew would be treasured - photo albums, etc. And to see the trees now leafing out fills me with gratitude that you were able to prevent them from burning. I have much gratitude to you and your team.
Lauren Buchholz, Administrative Aide
Mill Valley Parks & Recreation
I just wanted you to know that I appreciate the Mill Valley Community Center and all it's workers that make me feel at home!
You and all the rest are so reliable -- I'll be seeing you soon.
