The City of Mill Valley requires many builders and developers to prepare a Construction Management Plan (CMP) that takes into account all relevant aspects of building or demolition work. This includes parking, truck routes, schedules, road closures, materials storage, and more. The Construction Management Plan, once approved, shall be posted at the job site with the Building Permit and included in the project plan set. The Construction Management Plan must be approved by the Building Official or the City Engineer or his/her designees prior to issuance of a building permit.
