Facebook | March 8th, 3:00pm Facebook, the most popular social network, currently has more than 1 billion users. Have you set up a profile? In this class, we'll discuss common vocabulary associated with Facebook: such as "friending", "sharing", "posting a status update", "liking", "messaging" and "reading your news feed". We'll also talk about why this site has become such a powerful tool for staying connected or reconnecting with the people you know and getting updates from the causes and products that you are interested in.
Instructor: Debbie Leight Debbie Leight is the owner of Computers Made Easy, a Bay Area-based company that offers computer, smartphone and tablet tutoring. Debbie grew up in Silicon Valley and has worked in software for her entire career. She spent more than seven years at Google, where she trained new hires and clients in the use of Excel and conducted classes on how to use Google Apps. She founded Computers Made Easy in 2001 and today works with a wide variety of clients, from grandmothers and grandfathers with their first iPhone or iPad to small business owners who want to use technology to be more productive.
Experience required: Basic computer skills, using a keyboard and mouse
