PRESENTATIONS

1. Presentation by the National Weather Service Designating the City of Mill Valley as a Storm Ready Community.

2. Presentation of a Proclamation Recognizing and Honoring the Students from Greenwood School for their Environmental Good Works.

3. Presentation by Sandra Ross, the City’s Appointee to the Marin/Sonoma Mosquito & Vector Control District.

CONSENT CALENDAR:

4. Warrants--$1,146,271.58.
Recommended Action: Approve paying expenses authorized by the adopted City Budget.

5. Consideration of the Minutes of the February 18, 2014 Regular City Council Meeting.
Recommended Action: Approve the February 18, 2014 Regular City Council Meeting minutes.

6. Consideration of a Resolution Updating the Regular City Council Meeting Start Time.
Recommended Action: Adopt Resolution No. 14-___.

NEW BUSINESS

7. Consideration of a Resolution Making Appointments to the Arts Commission, Emergency Preparedness Commission, Library Board of Trustees, Planning Commission and the Marin/Sonoma Mosquito Vector Control Board.
Recommended Action: Adopt Resolution No. ___.

8. Presentation from Tom Cronin, Marin Municipal Water District, and Tim McSorley, Senior Supervising Engineer, on Drought Conditions in Marin County and the City’s Water Conservation Steps.
Recommended Action: Receive presentation, discuss and provide direction as appropriate.

9. Consideration of a Resolution Adopting the City of Mill Valley 2014 Emergency Operations Plan Update.
Recommended Action: Adopt Resolution No. 14-___.

• Update regarding PG&E’s Outreach and Schedule for their Downtown Gas Pipeline Upgrade Project.
• Mill Valley Recipient of the Community Coalition for Alcohol and Other Drug Prevention Grant from Marin County Health and Human Services.
• Update Regarding Lovell Avenue Construction Activities.
