Planning Commission to Make Final Recommendations on the MV2040 General Plan on August 26, 2013

As part of the formal review and approval process for the Mill Valley 2040 General Plan ("MV2040"), the Mill Valley Planning Commission will conduct a public meeting to discuss and consider a resolution recommending that City Council certify the Final Environmental Impact Report (EIR) and adopt the MV2040 General Plan and the 2009-2014 Housing Element.  See links below to download meeting materials.

Next Steps: Once Planning Commission makes its final recommendations, City Council will hold public hearings, take public testimony, and review and consider certifying the Final EIR and adopting the MV2040 General Plan and 2009-2014 Housing Element. The City Council hearing dates are:

  • Monday, September 16, 2013 (7:30pm)
  • Tuesday, September 18, 2013 (7:00pm)
  • Monday, September 30, 2013 (7:00pm) 

City Council meetings are held at City Hall in Council Chambers at 26 Corte Madera Avenue in Mill Valley. All of the scheduled hearings can be viewed online on the City's webcast site.

Draft Documents: The Draft MV2040 General Plan, the Draft 2009-2014 Housing Element and the Draft EIR can be downloaded at Paper copies of all of the documents can also be reviewed at Mill Valley City Hall (26 Corte Madera Avenue, Mill Valley, CA) and the Mill Valley Public Library Reference Desk (375 Throckmorton Avenue, Mill Valley, CA) during normal business hours. (Note: Mill Valley City Hall is closed every other Friday and from 12-1pm every day).
