Freeze Watch for the North Bay
Are you prepared?
Posted Date: 12/2/2013 5:00 PM

Cold WeatherA cold front will move toward the North Bay Monday evening and sweep south through the region by early Tuesday morning.  Cold air will move into the region behind the cold front, resulting in a prolonged cold snap through the end of the week.  Freeze watches have been issued for most of the area.

What does this mean and how will it affect Mill Valley?  Extremely cold weather can damage crops and sensitive plants, increased risk of hypothermia from prolonged cold exposure, including animals.  The potential for black ice to form on cooler, shaded roads is a possibility.
