The mission of the Department of Planning and Building is to provide staff services to the City Council and Planning Commission related to the implementation of the City's General Plan. This department oversees the development and implementation of planning and land use policies and regulations in Mill Valley as well as the enforcement of City ordinances that govern the development and use of property within the community.
