These electronic audio books are already loaded on a tiny 2 oz. player. The collection is located on the new book shelf just below the In Demand books.
Playaways can be borrowed for 3 weeks (like other audio books) and come with:
• two AAA batteries (one in the player and one extra in the package). A battery lasts for about 12 hours.
• one lanyard.
Optional equipment includes:
• earbuds: $1.00 (Keep them for use on airplanes, or with your computer, or your next Playaway).
for the car (borrow one or the other for 3 weeks):
• teeny tiny speaker with good loud volume (includes 2 AAA batteries)
• FM transmitter (includes 2 AAA batteries and cigarette
lighter adapter): tune your FM radio to an unused station and tune the transmitter to the same station
