Land Use and Zoning Maps

Land Use Map
The City's Land Use Map is a component of the City's General Plan that illustrates how a piece of property may be used and developed, and is used to guide in decision making for the area--  Land Use Table and Map

Zoning Map
Zoning Map:
The City regulates land use primarily through zoning ordinances set forth in the City's Municipal Code. The Zoning Map identifies "zoning districts" that correspond with Chapter 20 "Zoning" of the Municipal Code (sections 20.24 through 20.56) that provide additional details and guidance related to how a property can be used (e.g. residential, commercial) and redeveloped (e.g. setbacks, heights).  Density ranges for redevelopment are provided in the Land Use table (above).  To print 11X17 copies of the Zoning Map, please click here.

Please note you can zoom in to locate actual address for the PDF.  For a more detailed look at a given property and the related land use and zoning maps, go to then go to "map viewer" to access specific information, including zoning.  (Please note, the City is currently working on uploading the land use layers to this site).
