Yoga will be hosting a yoga class in the downtown plaza from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2013. $10 suggested donation will go towards raising funds for the Mill Valley Parks & Recreation Schorlarship Fund.
The yoga class will be taught by Michele Klink, Zobha Circle of Grace member and local instructor at YogaWorks and will be a beginner class open to the community. The first 30 people to register for the class on Saturday monring will receive a gift bag from Zobha.
Mill Valley Recreation is partnering with Mill Valley based company Zobha to raise awareness and funds for the Recreation Department’s Scholarship Fund. Our Recreation Department Scholarship program provides access to recreation activities offered by the Mill Valley Recreation Department as well as use of the Aquatics & Fitness Center to individuals and families in financial need. Zobha opened its first store in downtown Mill Valley, 20 Miller Ave, this past October and is committed to being an active part of the community. In an effort to support local awareness of being active, build our community programs and support our recreation programs and the Mill Valley Recreation Department, Suggested donations to benefit the Recreation Scholarship Fund with Zobha agreeing to match any funds collected at the event and at a shopping event after the yoga classes in its new store.
