First Friday: San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus

The journey of the SF Gay Men's Chorus began in earnest nearly 35 years ago on a fateful day in November 1978 when San Francisco City Supervisor Harvey Milk and SF Mayor George Moscone were assassinated. Join us as the SFGMC explores the intersecting legacies of the late Harvey Milk and the Chorus, shares how a modest idea to honor Harvey Milk in their 35th year evolved into the phenomenon "Harvey Milk 2013" and presents a mini-concert representing the best of the Chorus today.
