Jeff Slavitz was elected to the Richardson Bay Sanitary District (RBSD) in November 2015. He was President of the board in 2017 and became the SASM representative in 2018.
Prior to joining RBSD Jeff served on the Tiburon Town Council for 11 years, three years as mayor. During that time, he was one of the city members to LAFCO and served on its board for most of his council term. Jeff also served on the Tiburon Planning Commission, Design Review Board and Heritage and Arts Commission. Jeff is currently on the boards of the Belvedere-Tiburon Library Foundation and the Tiburon Peninsula Foundation. He also volunteers with 10,000 Degrees and serves as a mentor to under-privileged high school students who are applying to college.
Jeff graduated from Columbia University with a political science degree but since graduation has been involved in computers. He works as a database computer consultant helping companies that use Oracle database systems. Jeff has lived in Tiburon for over 30 years and is married with two children who recently graduated from college. In his free time, he enjoys playing bridge and golf, and as a former triathlete still enjoys swimming, bicycling and running in the Marin hills.
