This database contains most of the planning records on a file, with the exception of historic subdivisions. Additional details on a planning approval can be obtained from the Planning Dept. by emailing planning@cityofmillvalley.org

Other Online Tools:

Marin County assessor data and additional mapping and measurement tools are available through the County’s mapping program at  MarinMap.org.

  • Important Tips When Using the Database:

First and foremost, please confirm that the address you are inquiring about is within Mill Valley city limits by searching the address on  Marin Map. If the address's jurisdiction states "Mill Valley", it is within city limits. If it states "Unincorporated", then the property is within Unincorporated Mill Valley. To get information on properties in Unincorporated Mill Valley, you should contact the  County Of Marin.

When entering an address, do not include the type of street. For example, if the address is 26 Corte Madera Avenue, enter 26 Corte Madera (without Avenue).

  • For those addresses with “East”, “West,” “North,” “South”, try entering the first initial, followed by the address. For example if the address is 19 East Blithedale, enter 19 E Blithedale. In some instances, the full address name may work as well.
  • See list of acronyms in the table to the right that are used as part of the database and data entry.
