Southern Marin Fire District is proud to present its first Annual Report detailing the major accomplishments of the 2020-21 fiscal year. From the execution and implementation of the Shared Services Agreement with the City of Mill Valley, increasing efficiencies for both communities to hiring of our first full-time Communications Coordinator; vastly improving and growing our community outreach services, to completing over 26.7 miles of roadway fuel reduction, our incredible team of public servants at SMFD are here to positively impact our community on a daily basis.
This report is intended to capture just some of those highlights. Whether by saving someone’s life, treating their medical problems, educating and assisting a homeowner in reducing the risks from wildfire, or simply helping a stranded motorist, we are here to serve the residents and visitors of the Southern Marin Fire Protection District and our surrounding area.
Also, thank you to our Board of Directors who provide the support and leadership to the team, ensuring that we can continue to meet the mission of the organization and serve our wonderful community.
