In August 1942 a U.S. Navy blimp took off from Treasure Island on an anti-submarine patrol with two men. Five hours later, the blimp made an unscheduled landing in Daly City with no one on board. This lavishly-illustrated talk based on research Mr. Geoghegan did for his upcoming book, When Giants Ruled the Sky, will recount the mysterious disappearance of the Love 8 blimp, exploring the various theories about what happened...including the most likely!

This event is a collaboration with the Mill Valley Historical Society.
